"Here Lies Dobby, a Free Elf."
Lonely and beautiful place. Bill and Fleur's cottage stood alone on a cliff overlooking the sea, its walls embedded with shells and whitewashed. Whenever Harry went inside the tiny cottage or its garden, he could hear the constant ebb and flow of the sea, like the breathing of some great, slumbering creature.
I couldn't think of a more peaceful place than Shell Cottage. It is so beautiful, secluded and safe. The cottage itself small and cozy, with a big fireplace, small tables and fresh baked bread. When you open the window, gentle breeze from the ocean brings over the lovely smell of Sea Lavender.
And our brave Dobby...you will always know and feel reassured that he is resting in this safest, most beautiful garden, forever away from harm.

This one is my absolute favorite. From the sounds of the ocean waves to the wind chimes and Fleur's hat, you didn't miss a single detail! So relaxing and cozy I just want to jump into the frame and stay there forever haha!
Helps calm my anxiety when it gets bad. Your videos are a gift x
These Harry Potter themed ambiance videos are such a blessing. Forget about going out when I need to change my mind or when I’m feeling down, this is what I need. I can picture myself there and everything is better. Very soothing practice, do recommend.
What's wrong with this place?
I don't mind staying here ALL ALONE as I can hear the Elements ~ Sea, Waves, Rain, Fire, Sand, Air, Wood & Seashells 🐚 chimes singin' 🎼 to Me! I will NEVER be Lonely All By Myself Here ~ for there are many "friends" here!

My Nana lived by the ocean, oh how I miss her and our visits there.
I suffer from chronic illnesses and severe depression. This helps so much to aleve some of my symptoms and gets my mind off the pain.
Thank you so much for this upload. I appreciate your hard work and I hope to see more.
In this one, I sit at the table sipping chamomile tea, listening to Fleur chatter. She's heavily pregnant and talks a lot when she's nervous, and she's always nervous and anxious these days - not sure when she will hear news from her mother and father, her little sister, not sure if Bill will come back when he leaves, not sure if she will have to stay in this cottage forever. It's so lovely, but... still. Not what she envisioned. And she reminds herself that she is strong and loyal and Delacours most certainly do not complain. And she's quiet as she bustles around the stove, making me bouillabaisse. I have tried to remind her she's pregnant and she should sit, to let me help, let me help cook or clean, but a deep blue glare quickly silences me and I'm the one sitting back down. I'm floating free of time and space now, in the present, in the past, in reality, in this fantasy. And I want to tell her not to worry. She will survive this war, her Bill will become a war hero, her child will be born healthy and beautiful and strawberry blonde, even lovelier than her, though it seems impossible staring at her clear beauty. I want to tell her she will have even more children, the war will pass, her love will grow, she will be okay. But this time and dimension travel forbids this, and I stay silent, press my lips together, nod my head and she happily recalls another memory of her childhood in the French countryside, and I hastily wipe away a few tears, careful to hide them from her.
Thank you, ASMR Rooms. You transport me to another world.
I literally want to live inside this video -- I'm not kidding! I am an ASMR listener and I found your Hogwarts library video today while I was in an actual library looking for a new non-talking ASMR video to read/study to. Your channel is PERFECT. I am so impressed by the warm and cozy ambience of each setting, and I am thankful you share your talent with us! So, thank you! Also, I'm serious when I say my dream home is THIS COTTAGE!!!!
I grew up in California right near the ocean -- my school was a five-minute drive to the beach, so I spent almost every afternoon on the sand. I'm landlocked now and miss the ocean terribly, so the sounds in this video are sooo soothing, nostalgic, and wonderful to me! And as someone who struggles with anxiety and depression, I appreciate both your empathy and your amazing videos, which help me to relax and "find my happy place," if you will. Thank you so much for making and sharing them!
Thank you so much for making these beautiful videos - I'm studying for board exams and if I pass, it will be because of the focus and relaxation your videos have given me! <3 Bill and Fleur's home is definitely my favourite! So well done!
Amazing! This is my favorite ASMR of yours so far. I love the little details you put in it such as the steam rising off the mugs of tea at first but eventually cooling down. It's so relaxing. I can't imagine how you even create these. It must be a lot of work. I'm a fan of Norwegian Slow TV and this reminds me a lot of that. The other night BBC/Britbox showed a Slow TV special of a long sleigh ride in the frozen tundra pulled by real reindeers. It was so beautiful and relaxing - like your videos but in real life.
To isolate the mobilization-induced labor supply shift, the authors exploit the fact that the fraction of males serving in the war was not uniform across states. For example, in Massachusetts, Oregon, and Utah, almost 55 percent of males between the ages of 18 and 44 left civilian work to serve in the war. In Georgia, the Dakotas, and the Carolinas, this number ranged between 40 and 45 percent. The state differences in war mobilization actually reflect a variety of factors. The Selective Services guidelines for deferments were based on marital status, fatherhood, essential skills for civilian war production, and temporary medical disabilities, but left considerable discretion to the local boards. Because of the importance of maintaining a strong food supply to support the war, an important consideration for deferment was farm employment.
States with a high percentage of farmers had substantially lower mobilization rates, and this explains a considerable share of the state variation in mobilization rates.
The authors show that in states with greater war mobilization of men, women worked more after the war and in 1950, but not in 1940. This differential does not appear to be explained by other cross-state differences or possible demand factors, and is not present in the 1940 data nor does a similar trend recur in the decade of the 1950s. The authors interpret these differentials as labor supply shifts induced by the War. Acemoglu, Autor, and Lyle believe these cross-state changes in female employment were caused by greater participation of women during the war years, with some of those women staying on. War changed womens preferences, opportunities, and information about available work.
