Tea Party Infuriated over IRS Action

Tea Party chapters in various parts of the country are irate with the IRS for demanding information from them about their politics, contributors and even family members. Certain Tea Party chapters including the one in Waco, Texas and the Ohio Liberty Council (another Tea Party chapter) received letters from the IRS office in Cincinnati asking them to provide details of their donors, volunteers, financial support and relationship with political candidates and parties, among other things. The letters even asked for printed copies of their Facebook pages.

Toby Marie Walker, President of the Waco Tea Party chapter told the press that some things requested by the IRS “reasonable”. However, she added that, “there were some requests on there that were strange. It ma

Usually, home is taken as the security in a home equity line of credit (HELOC). In this facility, you can withdraw cash when you need it until you reach the pre-arranged credit limit. Hence interest is calculated based on the money withdrawn and the prime rate. Home equity line of credit rates is comparatively less than other home equity loans. This is a secured form of money lending and is available for self-employed or individual with bad credit.

As your home is regarded as collateral, the lender has no risk even if you don’t repay the loan. Hence it is cheaper than other loans. Moreover, in HELOC it is possible to extent your repayment schedules for a long term of about 3 to 25 years. So this type of loan is considered as relatively affordable by many customers.

Rental homes are not considered as collateral in such loan types. A Read more…

This is broadly in line with the 26% of 16-year-olds leaving school with just three GCSEs who could not find a job last year. School leavers who stayed on to study towards their A-levels fared better than both groups.

Years ago, I found myself sitting in law school in Moot Court wearing an oversized itchy blue suit. It was a horrible experience. In a desperate attempt to avoid anything like that in the future I enrolled in a tax course. I loved it. I signed up for another. Before I knew it, in addition to my JD, I had a LL.M Taxation. I needed only to don my cape…. taxgirl® was born. Today, I live and work in Philadelphia, PA, one of the best cities in the world . I landed in the City of Brotherly Love by way of Temple University School of Law. While at law school, I interned at the estates attorney division of the IRS. At IRS, I participated in the review and audit of federal estate tax returns. I even took the lead on a successful audit. At

New Hampshire Auto Dealer Bond

Auto dealer bonds now protect the broader public in New Hampshire thanks to new legislation. The new law is named SB 156 and adds extra protection to the bond that’s required of retail vehicle dealers, auto wholesale dealers, and utility dealers. Originally the required bond only protected individuals who purchased a vehicle from the dealer and experienced any losses as a result of the dealer’s actions. SB 156 states that the bond now protects a town, city, or the State if it encounters a loss as a result of a dealer failing to collect fees for motor vehicle registration, permit registration, registration transfer, and title applications.
